BzzAgent - CoverGirl Blast Flipstick review

I was recently invited to join the Covergirl Blast Flipstick BzzCampaign, and I jumped at the chance! I received my BzzKit this week, and I have finally had a chance to try out the products.

CoverGirl Blast Flipstick is a double ended lipstick. It comes in 13 different varieties, and a total of 26 shades! Each one is a mix of two complementary colors: one end is a creamy shade, and the other end is a lighter shimmer shade. They are designed to be worn alone or together, so that one stick can create several looks!

BzzAgent was kind enough to send us 3 full-sized products. We received Vixen - a darker fuschia and a light shimmery pink, Stunner - A coral-ish orangey shade and a shimmery gold, and Minx - a darker brown and a shimmery bronze.

I am a pale, pinky skinned person and browns do not work for me, so I passed Minx along to a darker skinned friend to try, but I am really pleased with the other two!

The packaging is simple and cute. They are a great size to keep in your bag. Stunner is pictured on top, while Vixen is on the bottom.

This is the darker end of Vixen worn alone. This one is the smoothest of the four shades pictured, and comes of nice and natural on my pigmented lips. 

This is the lighter end of Vixen worn alone. It is very shimmery and it is sheer...great to add just a little shimmer to your lips or to lighten up a too-dark shade.

This is the lighter shade applied over the darker shade...I like it! A bit of shimmer, color but nothing too bold...this is great for an everyday look for me.

I like Vixen the bost of the shades received, and it suits me!

This is the darker end of Stunner. I do find that the texture is a bit more dry than Vixen, but it is still easy to apply and very wearable. It is a nice bold color, and quite pigmented. I love it for a special occasion or times I want a bright bold lip.

This is the lighter end of Stunner. It is a shimmery sheer gold, and it is so pretty in person. I love this as a lip highlight! It is a bit less smooth than the others, but that's to be expected with shimmery shades.

And this is the lighter shade over the darker shade. Together, I think they are dramatic! I love the gold shade on top of nearly everything I've tried it over.

The formula of these in general is pretty good - while not super moisturizing, it is easy to apply and it lasts a decent amount of time. I love the versatility of them and that you can combine them in endless ways to create new looks. I will be buying more shades!

Unreal Candy (BzzCampaign)

I recently joined a BzzCampaign for Unreal candy, and I was excited to give it a shot! I received one free item coupon and several BOGO coupons to share. I picked up the 3 varieties above and was able to try them out.

Unreal was a new brand for me, so I decided to see what they were all about. Turns out, this company is right up my alley! They're a company on a mission to "unjunk" candy. Basically, they take popular candy flavors, remove all of the nasty chemicals and additives, and deliver something that is delicious and far, far better for you!

If you've ever looked at the ingredients on a traditional candy bar, you know it can be kind of scary. They're full of high fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated oils, preservatives, artificial coloring,

Unreal uses things like cane sugar, agave, organic oils, and whole ingredients. They even use natural colorants like turmeric and beetroot!

I'll admit that I was a little skeptical about how they'd taste...after all, we're so used to eating foods full of junk. But I'm pleased to report that every variety I tried was delicious!

Unreal 8 is similar to a Snickers bar, and has that same chewy nougat, caramel, and peanut taste and texture - but in my opinion, it tastes even richer and better. The caramel is especially awesome.

Unreal 54 is modeled after peanut M&Ms...they're so good! I love the natural coloring - they're pretty, muted almost jewel tones provided by things like turmeric and beetroot. They lack that strange taste that is in the coating of M&Ms and the focus is all on the chocolate and peanut.

Unreal 77 is their version of a Reeses cup, and they are what you imagine - peanut butter cups. The peanut butter is smooth and true and the simple ingredients are absolutely delicious.

I really, truly enjoyed these candies and I am dying to try their other two varieties! As long as these are available, I will be replacing my traditional candy bars with them. I'd love to see them develop more varieties and really grow the line!

I recommend this line to anyone who likes to indulge in some candy once in a while but wants to put fewer nasty chemicals into their body.

Garnier Bzz Campaign/Update and Review

I posted a while back that I was joining the Garnier Fructis Bzz Campaign.  Well, I've since received my BzzKit and tried the product for about a week, and I'm ready to share my thoughts on it!

My BzzKit arrived with product information and a greeting note as usual.  They're always fun to get.

The letter always gives you a brief introduction to the campaign and the brand.  

I love that BzzAgent always includes a BzzGuide with the kits.  It always lists the key facts about the product, very useful when trying to share with people.  It lists the other products available in the line, and it also lists the different Bzz activities you can do on BzzAgent - things like reviews, videos, and reports.

Most important is the product!  I received Triple Nutrition.  This line is great for dry, damaged hair.  I have thick, wavy, color treated hair that is prone to dryness and damage, so it's a great choice for me.  It contains olive, avocado, and shea oils and promises to nourish hair without weighing it down.  The bottles are 13 ounces each and packed in the new Eco-Fructis bottles, which use 30% recycled plastic.

But how does it work?  In my opinion, very well.  It smells amazing - fresh and fruity. My hair smells good all day after using it, but the scent isn't so strong as to distract from any other fragrance I desire to wear.

The consistency is great - it's nice and creamy and easy to use.  It also rinses out easily, and leaves my hair feeling nice and clean and smooth.  I've gotten comments this week on how shiny my hair looks, and I've noticed that it just feels HEALTHY.

I've used and enjoyed other Garnier products, and this one doesn't disappoint.  I definitely recommend this line to anyone looking for affordable shampoo and conditioner that will keep your hair strong and healthy.

After a week of use, my hair feels super soft. :)

New Garnier Fructis BzzCampaign.

I've been a member of BzzAgent for a while now, and I love it!  In case you don't know what BzzAgent is, it is a social marketing community.  Basically, you qualify for BzzCampaigns in which you are given the opportunity to try free or discounted products or services.  In exchange, they ask that you "Bzz" (share and/or talk about) these products/services, whether your opinions be positive or negative.  It's a great way to try new things and let others know what you think of them.  It's one of my favorite sites!

 It had been a while since I'd gotten a campaign invite, so I was really excited when I was invited to join the new Garnier Fructis BzzCampaign!  Garnier has come out with new shampoo and conditioner formulas that feature "Fruit Science" and new more eco-friendly packaging.  This campaign features two formulations.

 One is called "Sleek & Shine" and it promises to get rid of frizz for a full 3 days, even in humid conditions.  It contains Argan and apricot oils.

The other is called "Triple Nutrition" and it promises to nourish your damaged hair from the inside out and leave it shiny. It includes olive, avocado, and shea oils.

Both sound great, and either one would suit my hair just fine, so I am really excited for the chance to try one of these lines!  I'll be sure to post a review when I get my BzzKit and finally get to try them!

Smarterer

So, I just realized that I haven't really done much with my Smarterer BzzCampaign...and after playing around with it, I think I know why - I just don't GET it.

According to their website, "Smarterer is a platform designed to score individuals on their digital, social, and technical skills."  Basically, they have a variety of tests you can take to gauge your knowledge of platforms like Facebook, Blogger, and Smarterer.  Why you'd be interested in this, I do not know, but if you enjoy things like that, check out Smarterer. :)
